Momo info – old

As I am using my first blog again, I left on couple things there were written years ago (2005), when I was about to start my bike journey. The ride was finished in fall 2008, year later I am still processing some things.

I am glad that I did it, but I have no wish to be back on the road again for so long… Maybe for some things in life, once is enough.

Life is limited journey and there are other things I would like to experience now.

To je to. Blog je postavljen ter dobil obliko na danasnji dan 22.2. Pricenja se odstevanje do odhoda, ter moznost spremljanja moje poti preko zapisov na teh straneh. Ko bodo besede dejanja postala, pot pa mi bo vsak dan prinesla novo dozivetje nov zapis. Poiskusila bom ujeti trenutke s pomocjo besed ter slik.

Blog bo vseboval zapise v dveh jezikih – anglescini in slovenscini. Vecina bo sproti prevedeno.

This is it. My blog is up and ready on the 22.2. The countdown have been started, and from now on you will be able to follow my progress on these pages. When words become moments and everyday I am going to learn, see or do something and somewhere new.I will try to catch those moment with the help of words and photos.

Blog is going to be written in both languages – English and Slovene. Most of it is going to be translated in both languages.

ZAKAJ – WHY

Zakaj pa ne je vsekakor prvi odgovor na vprasanje zakaj. Drugi odgovor pa se glasi zaradi lepote narave ter ljudi, ki si le to delijo. Soncni vzhodu in zahodi pa me se vedno fascinirajo.

Sama ideja za pot se je porodila ze pred casom tam sredi studija. Enostavno zelim si videti ter doziveti ta del sveta predno globalizacija s svojimi vplivi spremeni podobo sveta v eno veliko globalno vas.

Po prebiranju knjig, pregledovanju internet strani, zemljevidov ter obisku Daniela, ki je potovajne v solo izvedbi udejanil leta 2004 je odlocitev padla. Potrebno bo iti ponovno na pot. In tako se je vse skupaj zacelo. Priprav so bile pestre, poucne ter zanimive. Seznam stvari, ki jih je bilo potrebno kupiti, urediti, se pouciti o njih je bil vsak dan daljsi, dnevi pa vsak dan krajsi. Tedni so padali mimo. Sluzba je postala sekundarnega pomena in samo vprasanje casa je bilo kdaj bom zakljucila z delom. V glavi se je vse vrtelo okoli poti.

In tako je leto padlo okoli. In sedaj sem na poti. Spoznavam vsak dan nove ljudi, pot me pripelje v nove kraje in se ucim o sebi ter svetu okoli mene. Veliko je se stvari, ki jih ne vem, a se veselim noih pripetljajov, spoznanj. Zaenkrat lahko recem le da je svet lepsi s kolesa, kot z domacega kavca.

Why not is the first answer on the question why traveling. And the second have to be the beauty of the nature and meeting people on the way. Btw. sunsets and sunrises are still fascinating for me.

The whole idea about traveling into that part of the world came up already during my studying years. I just want to see and experience it before the globalization change the world into one big village.

After reading the books, searching over the net, looking through the maps and a visit to Daniel, who had done the solo-trip in 2004, the decision was made. I have to go on the trip again.

So the preparation could start. Already that part was interesting, fun, hard. The list of things that need to be done before leave was longer and longer, and days become shorter and shorter. The job became less important and it was just a question of time when I would finished it. And from then on my mind everything was about the trip.

Now the year is around. I am on my way going east. I am meeting new people every day, the way is taking me to new places and I am learning about myself and the world around me. There is a lot of things that I do not know yet, but I am looking forward new places, experiences, cultures. So far only I can say is that the world is nicer from the bike point view, then from the couch in living room at home.

KAKO – HOW

Kot je verjetno ze jasno s kolesom. Enostavno ti kolo ponuja dozivetje v drugacnem pomenu. Zivljenje se zacne vrteti priblizno s hitrostjo 20 km/h, ter razdaljo 100 km/dan. In to je ravno dovolj, da vidis in opazis stvari ob poti, da das dusi in mozganom cas za razmisljanje, da telo zvecer z velikim veselje sprejme odlocitev, da je cas za spanje do soncnega vzhoda ko se stvar ponovi. Vse postane enostavno, a vsak dan drugacno, pestro. Saj te pot pelje naprej.

Ni enostavno, a je lepo.

As you already got it, I am traveling by bike. Simple the bike give you a chance to experience everything in different way. The life starts to go around at the speed around 20 km/h, cca. 100 km/day. And that it is enough to see more things along the way, to give the soul and mind time to think about, and that at the evening body is happy to get a rest till next sunrise, when it is brand new day. Everything become simple, but different. The way is taking you on to new places.

It is not easy, but it is nice.

MOMO foundacija – found

Ime Momo sem vzela iz istoimenske knjige M. Ende: MOMO, ki je v osnovi namenjena otrokom. Bistvo zgodbe je se kako aktualno tudi danes. Govori o odraslih, ki jim vedno manjka casa, venomar se pehajo za svojimi vsakdanjimi opravili in dolznostmi.Sele ko se cas popolnoma ustavi se ljudje zavedajo kaj izgubljajo z vsako uro, vsakim dnem. In zaradi podobnih razlogov sem jaz na poti.

Ob vsem tem pa imam se eno veliko zeljo, ki pa se lahko uresnici samo s pomocjo vas, ki prebirate te vrstice. Ob tem ko jaz odkrivam nove kraje, nekateri ne vedo kako bodo placali avtobusno karto za prevoz v solo, kako bodo placali zakljucni izlet. Na obmocju Obsoteljskega oz. Kozjega je vsekakor problematika velika. Ljudje enostavno nimajo moznosti, da bi lastnim otrokom omogocili mirno odrascanje. Veliko druzin ima neurejene financne razmere. Zato sem se odlocila, da skupaj z vami med mojo potje sedaj kot tudi kasneje poiskusim za vsak km poti zbrati 1 EUR-240 SIT. Vem, da stevilka ni majhna. Ves denar se zbere direktno na racun RK Smarje pri Jelsah, kjer smo se dogovorili da odpremo sklad MOMO. Trenutno smo izbrali tri mladostnike, ki jim je krutost zivljenja se kako poznana, a s svojo vztrajnostjo dokazujejo, da si zelijo dokazati ter si zagotoviti boljsi jutri s pomocjo boljse izobrazbe. V obliki stipendij bi jim rada omogocila lazji solski vsakdan.

The name Momo I took from the book from M. Ende. It is children book, but also adult could take a lesson out of it. It talks about loosing time and rushing on everyday base….And that is another reason for traveling. Not loosing time.

By the trip I have also one big wish. I put up a found for scholarships for young people from area where I worked. The economic situation is not really good there, but there are young people who want to study for better tomorrow.
